This year (2021) in the spring, I got accepted in to the Public Health - Global Health program, Bachelor of Science!
And now, it is December 16, 2021 and Fall Quarter is about to end, which means that I am about to start my cohort next quarter.
It is a little bit unreal because I have spent a bulk of my 2 years in college so far, taking classes outside of my major and now... I am about to! I feel lots of emotions: mostly excitement and anxiousness.
I feel like I am still learning more about public health as I take more classes, but this quarter, after taking EPI 320 (Introduction to Epidemiology), I feel like I really enjoy the prevention aspect of not only diseases but negative outcomes that we don't often think are related to health (actions that lead to negative health consequences, social determinants of health).
